Cool Concept, the air conditioning and heat pump installer, recently welcomed Luxembourg’s economy minister Lex Delles to present Coolsy. The company combines economic performance with environmental responsibility, as explained by its CEO, Pierre Padilla.

With this “AI” innovation available to its customers, Cool Concept is merging economic efficiency with ecological responsibility, as highlighted by CEO, .

“We need concrete examples like this to show how artificial intelligence can truly help businesses and craftsmen improve their performance,” said economy minister  (DP) on social media following his visit to , where he discovered Coolsy. This interactive tool, powered by AI and technical data related to equipment, assists and informs the company’s private customers in search of solutions. “It’s a super-assistant, available 24/7, capable of answering both written and oral questions in French and Luxembourgish,” says Pierre Padilla, CEO of the Steinsel-based company, which employs 60 people.

Shared benefits

Developed by Lorweb, a communications agency specialising in digital solutions, Coolsy generates mutual value for both customers and the company. For customers, this means enhanced service quality, comfort and savings, as they no longer incur charges for minor faults they can resolve with a few simple tips. If a resolution is not possible, an intervention is automatically triggered. Thanks to AI, technicians have continuous access to an extensive database of technical information. “Most importantly, they can dedicate more time to tasks that require their expertise and responsiveness, such as emergency interventions for professional clients like restaurants and hospitals. This has led to improved performance and efficiency,” explains Padilla, who also underscores the ecological benefits of the system.

Sustainability in action

Since Coolsy’s implementation, the need to work on private customers’ premises has decreased by almost 20%, resulting in fewer CO2 emissions. Similarly, AI is helping to optimise the maintenance of Cool Concept’s equipment fleet, improving operational efficiency and reducing resource waste. “Air conditioning systems may be more efficient, but they are not environmentally neutral. Since our company’s founding in 1999, we have implemented numerous initiatives to reduce our environmental impact--modestly but with determination,” says Padilla. The company plants a tree for every 2,000 air conditioners it installs annually and offers attractive solutions to support the installation of solar panels nationwide.
