Katharina Creutz, Boika Deleva and Antoine-David Freymann have been appointed as counsel at Clifford Chance, the law firm announced on 23 April.

Luxembourg law firm Clifford chance has appointed three counsel--Katharina Creutz, Boika Deleva and Antoine-David Freymann--effective as of 1 May 2024, the law firm said in a press release published on 23 April. The three of them specialise in either tax, pensions and employment or on global financial markets.

“The appointments of our counsel demonstrate our commitment to investing in our talented people and recognise their contribution to providing outstanding services and solutions to our clients,” commented , managing partner of Clifford Chance in Luxembourg in the communiqué.

Katharina Creutz focuses on tax, pensions & employment, with particular experience in investment funds and the asset management industry. She advises on Beps (base erosion and profit shifting), exchange of information, cross-border transactions and financial institutions on the German and Swiss market. Creutz joined Clifford Chance in May 2019 and previously worked in KPMG Luxembourg’s tax team.

Boika Deleva is now counsel in the firm’s global financial markets practice area. She specialises in banking and financial services regulation as well as derivatives, finance, securities, insolvency and general banking law matters with a particular focus on fintech, notably in the capital markets and financial market infrastructures areas. Deleva joined Clifford Chance in January 2017 and previously worked at UBS Luxembourg.

Antoine-David Freymann focuses on tax, pensions & employment, advising clients on clients on international and corporate tax law. He specialises in the structuring of investment funds and their investments, negotiations with fund investors, carried interest and transfer pricing. Before joining Clifford Chance in June 2015, Freymann interned in the tax department of Arendt & Medernach.
