Cybersecurity can still seem abstract, too technical or costly for a company. However, the consequences of a cyberattack can be very real. The Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg will bring together the many actors of the cybersecurity ecosystem from 19-20 October 2022 at LuxExpo The Box. 

With ransomware attacks hitting an organisation every 11 seconds around the globe (Cybersecurity Ventures as quoted in Joint Research Centre report (2020): “”), ensuring a high level of cybersecurity is more important than ever.

An opportunity for the growth and sustainability of a company

Cybersecurity is everyone's business and undeniably contributes to the continued development of a high-performance digital economy. For a company, the protection of its customers’ personal data translates directly into increased trust as they can be assured of the integrity and security of their data, making it a competitive advantage for the development of the company’s activities.

Protecting its activities means protecting its know-how and reputation. The question is not if an incident will happen, but when it will happen. Being prepared means being able to ensure a continuity of service and reassure customers, even in times of crisis.

Solutions and initiatives to ensure our innovative cybersecurity future

Luxembourg has a cybersecurity ecosystem composed of more than 300 actors active in various fields related to cybersecurity. These actors have a common mission: to secure and promote the development of the digital economy.

Numerous initiatives are organised throughout the year to raise awareness, support and address the cybersecurity-related issues that companies are facing. CYBERSECURITY.LU is the national portal gathering all the news of this ecosystem, its actors, their services and solutions as well as a series of resources directly and instantly available to companies.

The Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg is the highlight of the year to connect with the actors able to meet the different needs in cybersecurity. This year and for the first time, a unique Fair & Meet-Up event, articulated around an exhibition and conferences, is organized from 19 to 20 October 2022 at LuxExpo The Box gathering speakers and attendees from all over Europe and beyond. 2 days of fair and meet-up involving +30 international exhibitors as well as local and international actors in +20 side events and talks tackling the various areas of cybersecurity-related activities ranging from technical to institutional topics. A Cybersecurity International Matchmaking, organised by the Enterprise Europe Network of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, will allow the establishment of qualified contacts through targeted business meetings.

The Cybersecurity Week Luxembourg is an opportunity not to be missed to get informed and exchange with the actors developing innovative services and solutions to anticipate the needs of tomorrow.
