Daniel Sahr’s management of the Luxembourg pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai was deemed so successful that he will take on the same role in Osaka in three years' time.

The Chamber of Commerce has confirmed that Daniel Sahr will be the director of the Luxembourg pavilion at the next World Expo in Osaka in 2025. His work in Dubai has been the subject of much praise. "We must take advantage of the experience acquired in the Emirates and the fine achievements of this team," said Chamber of Commerce general director Carlo Thelen.

When asked a few days ago about his future duties, Daniel Sahr was discreet, saying only that he would collaborate with Osaka 2025 and would not hesitate to give advice. It turns out he will be doing quite a bit more than that.

"We are very lucky to have such a valuable person in our ranks, and one who is also enthusiastic," said Luc Frieden, president of the Chamber of Commerce. Like many others, Frieden is reluctant to change "a winning team.” The new mandate that awaits Daniel Sahr is "certainly deserved” but also the fruit of "the very good work of his entire team” Frieden said.
