Luxembourg-based Quintet Private Bank has promoted Daniele Antonucci to chief investment officer, Antonucci said on his page earlier this week.
London-based Antonucci assumes responsibility for overseeing the investment strategy that shapes the composition of portfolios.
In addition to his primary duties, Antonucci chairs the bank’s network of chief strategists. This network plays a pivotal role in communicating the bank’s perspective on the economy and financial markets to both clients and the media.
Prior to joining Quintet in 2020 as the chief economist and macro strategist, Antonucci served as the chief euro area economist at Morgan Stanley. He previously held positions at Merrill Lynch and Moody’s Analytics, according to his Linkedin profile.
Antonucci also holds a membership in the European Central Bank’s shadow council. This council serves as a platform for discussions between academic and private sector economists.
