After a first two-year term, Corinne Lamesch (49) has been re-elected by the general meeting for a second term as president of the Luxembourg Association of Investment Funds (Alfi).

She has more than 20 years of experience in the fund industry and is country head Luxembourg of Fidelity International.

Despite a year largely marked by the pandemic, she declared her satisfaction with her first mandate in an interview with Paperjam last May. She also announced that she would be a candidate for her own succession.

After having fallen sharply in the spring of 2020, the Luxembourg fund industry quickly recovered and at the beginning of the year passed the symbolic threshold of €5,000 billion.

Following the general meeting on 25 June, a new board of directors has been appointed.
