A biogas production unit is to be installed at there by 2023, with the goal of cutting the plant’s natural gas consumption by 25% and thus carbon emissions by 4,000 tonnes a year, said energy minister Claude Turmes (Green party).
Total investment of around €15m will be required by the firm, with additional backing coming from Luxembourg energy group Encevo and French engineering group Etia.
