A gala dinner dance that also honoured the late Grand Duke Jean with a minute’s silence was held at the Hotel Parc Alvisse in Dommeldange on Saturday. The occasion was the 50th anniversary of the British Ladies Club of Luxembourg, now a diverse and international group of English-speaking women that has around 400 members from over 30 nationalities.
