The brainchild of Raoul Thill, known for his success in Luxembourg’s creative, commercial design and communication sector, Cereal Lovers is much more than a new faddy foodie store and restaurant. According to Thill, it was, “Created with a multicultural urban clientele in mind and great care has been taken in the choice of recipes, the shop, the design and the team.”  

The first Cereal Lovers premises is ideally situated in the iconic Capucins courtyard in Luxembourg City and Thill says, “Cereal Lovers in more than just a place to eat. It is designed around the modern foodie who enjoys healthy, but also tasty meals and snacks.”

So, what’s on the menu?

“Clients can explore a variety of cereals and recipes developed with locally sourced ingredients. Fresh sandwiches, salads and bars focus on offering the public healthy breakfast offerings, energising lunches and tasty afternoon snacks,” Thill supplied. 

Food intolerances are catered for too. “Extensive attention is given to gluten and lactose sensitive clients, and vegan and vegetarian options also take centre stage.”

A second Cereal Lovers’ premises has been opened in Beggen in the form of a shop and production workshop. “Recipes are prepared at the brand-new, state-of-the-art kitchen in Beggen, which was designed by Moreno Architecture,” Thill explained. “Each morning the freshly prepared salads, sandwiches and cereal bars are delivered to the store at Capucins. Clients can also pick up products and freshly-made recipes from 10am to 3pm. These can potentially be extended in keeping with demand.” 

Along with healthy, tasty and intolerance-free meals and snacks, Cereal Lovers offers specialty teas and coffees to taste in store or buy to take home, along with an impressive selection glassware and other gifts.
