The Luxembourg Christmas market, listed as one of the ten best Christmas markets in Europe, is spread across five different sites and opens every day from 11am to 9pm until Christmas Eve. Indulge in local food, discover unique craft products or skate along under the beautiful canopy of the 800 m² big ice rink on  place Guillaume II, open until 6 January. The many carousels and fair games will enchant the little ones, while grown-ups can warm up with flavourful mulled wine.

The biggest market, at Place de la Constitution, boasts around 60 foods and crafts stands, a traditional Christmas pyramid and a 32 metre tall Ferris Wheel that offers magical views over the Petrusse valley.

New this season is the covered market at Place du Théâtre; those who want to shop more consciously this Christmas can find local and manufactured products and decorations here.

About 250 concerts and events throughout the Christmas markets are sure to put you in a festive mood. The Rotondes and the Théâtres de la Ville propose a special seasonal programme and the Luxembourg Adventcircus at the Glacis will let children’s eyes shine brighter.
