In order to promote healthy eating habits amongst children, inspire fun at cooking, Cactus and its partner Miele invite to a special cookery class at the Cactus Kachatelier by Miele, on Tuesday 13th of March. The workshop, specially designed for children, aims to develop knowledge about food and where it comes from, and at the same time convey useful information about healthy eating habits and their benefits on both mental and physical health. While teaching valuable basics for a healthy diet, cooking and baking will be used to stimulate the children’s creativity, develop their fine motor skills as well as their communication skills. During the workshop, the children will have to be assisted by their parent.

The cookery course will be held exclusively in English by Vesela Savova, a certified Diet & Nutrition advisor and blogger, living in Luxembourg. As a mom, her interest has further expanded into child nutrition which led her to completing a certification course in ‘Child Nutrition and Cooking’.

The class is open for children from the age of 4 to 10 years and will take place on the 1st floor of the Cactus supermarket at Windhof (1, route d'Arlon, L-8399 Windhof) and will last from 3 pm to 5 pm (Doors open at 2.45 pm).
