The “Going South” party on Thursday evening shined a spotlight on Luxembourg’s Australian, New Zealander and South African communities.

Those nationalities were featured in Delano’s February print edition, which “Going South” attendees were the first to read.

The event began with an open bar and finger food, while attendees had their pictures taken at the ING Luxembourg photo booth. That was followed by DJ sets from Kirsty Sutherland.

Many guests turned up dressed for their favourite sport (and a couple of footballs made the rounds on the dancefloor in the party’s later hours).

Delano is the current affairs, business and lifestyle magazine for Luxembourg’s international community. Delano marked its 5th birthday last year with a Miami Beach Party (celebrating the Grand Duchy’s Latin American community), which followed our Skal Party (the Nordic countries), the Spice It Up Party (southern Asian nations), Everything’s Gone Green (Ireland), London Calling and the Wild Wild West launch party.

“Going South” was sponsored by ING Luxembourg and graciously organised by Delano’s sister outfit, the Paperjam Club.
