KBL Luxembourg confirmed on Wednesday that Belgian national Fievet will succeed Carlo Friob, who is stepping down. Fievet was most recently CEO of Edmond de Rothschild (Suisse) and headed international private banking there. But his extensive background includes roles with Barclays Wealth & Investment Management, UBS Wealth Management, Citigroup and JP Morgan.
KBL epb group CEO Jürg Zeltner, who took on his new role in May 2019, said he was “delighted” with the announcement, adding that he has known Fievet for over 15 years.
As for Fievet, he’s “hugely excited” to be leading KBL Luxembourg, adding in the company’s press release that, “for investors, the world has never been more complex, making the need for independent, unbiased advice greater than ever.”
