The speed dating-style event put participants in touch with three mentors in 30-minute cycles. Each mini-workshop focused on issues of interest and concern for the participants, with the goal to share knowledge, activate insights, and encourage action and growth. This year’s workshop covered career development, entrepreneurship, health, and well-being, among others.
President Mary Louise Ashworth said the speed mentoring workshop is a highlight of the annual events calendar. “There’s so much energy and excitement in the air. There’s always such a buzz, and the participants love meeting new people and meeting new mentors. We worked hard to put together a treasure trove of mentors and ensure that everybody takes away at least one golden nugget.”
