- Luxembourg’s Prime Minister has promised to create a working group to examine the reorganisation of air navigation administration (Ana) in a meeting on Tuesday. The meeting sought to heal the rift caused after conciliation between Ana and the infrastructure ministry failed. Staff left Tuesday’s meeting with Xavier Bettel with a new sense of hope after he promised to take the discussion in hand.
- Petitioners who oppose the teaching of French to children in crèches say they fear that children will be overworked. In a chamber of deputies discussion about the petition, Luxembourg’s education ministry disagreed and suggested it will facilitate learning.
- IT giant Apple has received a tax adjustment by the French finance ministry in relation to one of its French subsidiaries. The justification is its billing system, which passes through Ireland and Luxembourg, which has been widely criticised as tax avoidance.
