This year’s Luxembourg Jazz Meeting is getting a facelift to become the Shuffle festival, with a diverse range of artists taking the stage for three days, on 27-29 November.
The Shuffle festival kicks off on 27 November, when Klein, Reis Demuth Wiltgen, Greg Lamy and Benoit Martiny Band each showcase their music over 30 minutes. The evening of 28 November is dedicated to local artists and will see the Michel Meis 4tet, Claire Parsons, Pascal Schumacher and Tele-Port take to the stage. Both evenings start at 8pm.
European jazz artists take centre stage on Sunday 29 September, starting at 11am. Muriel Grossmann Quarte and Balearic Islands will be a joined by a host of other talents.
Jazz for youngsters
While full details have yet to be released, Neimënster will also see the 4th edition of its Reset programme taking place in 2021. Luxembourg musician, composer and percussionist, Pascal Schumacher, serves as its artistic director, and this year’s concept sees 8 young talents--4 women, 4 men--from different countries, playing 8 instruments.
