The robotic harness, which helps people with reduced mobility and even quadriplegia to stand and walk, is expected to arrive at the national rehabilitation centre for 9 December.
Equipped with motors and sensors at the joints, the tool can be adjusted to the size and requirements of individual patients, Paperjam explains.
The exoskeleton comes at a cost of €140,000, a sum that was supported by the Wonschstaer Foundation, a not-for-profit helping grant the wishes of people with life-limiting conditions and finance the provision of equipment.
