 Createam S.A

Over the past decades, the way we shop and eat has radically changed.Products, such as coffee, whose raw material doesn’t grow in our region, have become daily consumer goods. Consumers are now overwhelmed too by the choice available: throughout the year, produce and products from every corner of the world are on display.

And yet shouldn’t we first find out more about the very best that our own local area has to offer us and even go and meet the local producers who live in the village just down the road? Certified organic craft beers, artisan bread made using age-old methods, cheese produced with great passion, trout farmed in the Our Valley, top quality gins distilled in small village distilleries, famous wines and crémants from the Moselle, fresh fruit and vegetables, including the very finest asparagus, fresh apple juice from our local orchards and so on. Day in, day out, there are artisan producers in Luxembourg working in tune with the seasons and in harmony with nature. To produce the very finest products possible, they test their expertise to the limits, and between them, they all share the same passion for working as artisans.

More and more businesses are using their resources to support local agriculture. And it’s by maintaining relationships based on dialogue and mutual understanding that companies like Cactus have managed to become real allies for local producers, offering them the opportunity to showcase their produce right across the country. Giving support to our national agriculture means it is possible to secure jobs in the region, use short food supply chains and guarantee local producers a fair return.

To help promote their extraordinary expertise, on a regular basis the Cactus group invites its customers to come and meet these producers during “Meet&Make” interactive visits, which are all advertised on Instagram (@cactus.lu) and in the Cactus newsletter.
