According to a press release issued on Tuesday by Inowai, one of the property developers involved in the project, the mixed-use development project aims to house more than just retail shops.
The announcement stated:
“At present, there is no single site offering retail and leisure provision in Luxembourg or the wider Greater Region, meaning people have to visit multiple locations--within Luxembourg and beyond--to find the services they need.”
Promoters said they want to create a single location where people can accomplish several tasks without leaving the site, “because time is precious in today’s hectic world.”
The real estate outfit said the centre, with a total surface area of 37 000m2, would include a retail area, hotel, office spaces, children’s daycare centre, gym, restaurants, and indoor and outdoor parking.
To top it all off, visitors will find various leisure options for adults, teens and children, such as an escape room, bowling, laser tag, trampoline park, children’s play area, and a tree-top adventure course.
The press release stated the project is scheduled to be completed “by the end of 2021” and “will create between 250 and 300 jobs”.
