As Paperjam reported based on information from Le Quotidien, city mayor Lydie Polfer (DP) provided figures on growth in the grand duchy capital. Over the course of 2019, the population of the city grew by 3,000. 

Around 64 nationalities reside in the capital, around 90% of which hail from EU countries (110,900).

Whilst Luxembourgers represented the largest single nationality group--totaling 35,913, or about 30%--French, Portuguese, Italians and Belgians make up the next largest proportion of residents, respectively.
