The Luxembourg City Tourist Office is pleased to announce the 28th edition of the Rock um Knuedler Festival in Luxembourg City. This year, the festival will take place on Saturday July 7th, 2018 and not on the Sunday. This change was made by the organisers to secure a more prominent position in the summer programme of the capital.

In line with previous years, this open-air festival features an exciting line up of Luxembourgish musicians with twenty-three bands and ten hours of non-stop live music! Visitors will find stages on Place Guillaume II, Place de la Constitution and in rue du Saint-Esprit in the city centre. Musicians moving from venue to venue will underline the festive character of this urban rock festival.

Entrance to the concerts is free.

• Free public transport on Saturdays: The organisers recommend that participants use public transport.All lines (1-31, City Shopping Bus, City Night Bus) of the capital’s bus network, the tram, as well as some RGTR lines are free on Saturdays (details: busgratuits.vdl.lu). In addition, there is the possibility for free use of many interregional night buses (Late Night Bus, Nightlifebus, ...) to get home (details: www.mobiliteit.lu, under Getting around> Schedules and networks > Nightbus). 

• Recommended car parks: Glacis, Schuman and P + R Bouillon In order to allow all citizens and visitors to the capital a better accessibility, the "Glacis" (+/- 1000 places), "Schuman" (+/- 400 places) and "P + R Bouillon" car parks (+/- 2400 places) are free at weekends and are served by the following regular lines: o Glacis & Schuman: 2, CityNightBus1o P + R Draft: 1/125, CityNightBus1.Other car parks are also available. • Special NeedsOn Place Guillaume II, access for people with reduced mobility will be guaranteed. A special needs area entitled ‘Besoins spécifiques’ will be available.
