The focus of the campaign launched on 28 June is to raise awareness on psychosocial risks and their many consequences on workers’ health, especially among the public service administration. Eight main themes constitute areas the campaign will look into including dealing with conflicts, stress, fear, harassment, depression, concern for a colleague, burnout, alcohol and addiction.

The campaign is run in collaboration with the municipal labour union (FGFC), and the public sector's psychosocial service (SPS). Civil service minister Marc Hansen (DP) and interior minister Taina Bofferding (LSAP) were both present at the launch with all speakers stressing the relevance of the campaign for the workforce. Marco Thomé, president of FGFC, Mareike Bönigk, head of the SPS, and Emile Eicher, president of the commune interest group Syvicol were equally present at the launch.

Hansen commended the cooperation between all the parties involved and underlined the need to go beyond looking out for one’s mental health but also that of colleagues. With increased workload and growing demands from citizens, Eicher said that the mental health of workers should be placed on the same pedestal as physical health. Thomé said the campaign will be made effective through trainings for the municipal staff delegations as well as for FGFC union staff.

The awareness campaign is now available and can be consulted via www.wei-geet-et.lu and at www.fgfc.lu, which now has a "psychological support" section.
