Belgian favourites Girls in Hawaii play the opening night of the Les Aralunaires music festival in Arlon. 

Featuring a cracking line-up, the 10th edition of the Les Aralunaires festival takes place over 6 days at the start of May. The bill includes some of the best up and coming indie bands and emerging artists as well as a few more well-established names.

Belgian favourites Girls in Hawaii (photo), for example, open the festival in 1 May at the Hall Ployvalent alongside support Mortalcombat featuring BRNS keyboard player César Laloux.

Canadian violinist and singer Hannah Eperson, which has played before at de Gudde Wëllen, performs on 2 May. The same day acclaimed British singer-songwriter This Is The Kit plays a show at l’Entrepôt. French rock band J.C. Satàn play the same venue on 3 May. Avant-garde funksters Tjens Matic are one of the highlights on 4 May, and US garage rock outfit Jacuzzi Boys star on the 5th. Luxembourg’s Edsun is also on the bill on Saturday. The festival closes on Sunday 6 May with a slew of gigs including shows by electronic artist Monolithe Noir and Belgian singer Angèle.
