Delhaize has announced that it will open a new shop in the Niederkorn Mall in Differdange next spring, covering 1,500 square metres. 40 new hires are planned.

A new shopping centre is being built in Differdange. What's it called? It's called Niederkorn Mall, and it's a privately-funded project led by Belvedere Architecture. With a floor space of around 5,500 square metres, it will house a supermarket, a DIY shop, restaurants, a crèche, shops, offices and underground parking spaces. And as of Tuesday 25 November, we know which brand will take over the supermarket: it will be a new Delhaize shop.

The opening is scheduled for 16 April 2026, the same month as the Niederkorn Mall, with Sandra Da Silva as the future shop manager. Delhaize Niederkorn will offer around 22,000 products over 1,500 square metres, including a brand new Portuguese assortment. 40 employees have been hired and 135 parking spaces will be available. Differdange is already home to the Opkorn shopping centre, which has 33 stores including the Auchan supermarket.
