The Journal officiel on Thursday published the composition of the board of the housing fund. The members will take up their positions on 1 July 2022 with a term of five years, renewable once.
Some of the appointed directors are renewing their mandate:
, first government advisor to the housing ministry, representing housing minister (déi Gréng);
Nadine Welter, first government advisor at the labour ministry, representing small and medium enterprises minister (DP);
Louis Reuter, deputy director of the public buildings administration, representing transport minister (déi Gréng);
Laurent Knauf, first government advisor at the ministry for home affairs, representing the home affairs minister (LSAP);
Stéphanie Goerens, 1st class government counsellor at the family and integration ministry, representing
family minister, (DP);
Christel Chatelain (advisor to the chamber of commerce) and (director general of the chamber of trades), representing their respective chambers;
Louis Oberhag, vice-president of the communal union--Syndicat intercommunal des villes et des communes (Syvicol)--and councillor of the municipality of Waldbredimus, representing Syvicol.
Other members are also joining the board:
Carol Rodesch, architect-urbanist at the housing ministry, representing Kox too, and replacing Mick Entringer;
Fabien Simon, deputy inspector of finance, representing the finance minister (DP) and succeeding Arnaud Gamarra;
Guy Koob, representing the LCGB labour union and succeeding Marcel Goerend;
Nico Clement, representing the OGBL labour union and succeeding ;
Gilbert Goergen, member of the executive committee of the civil servants’ union CGFP, representing the CGFP and succeeding Georges Dennewald,
The housing fund is one of main tools of the Luxembourg state when it comes to social housing. The fund contributes to the government's goal to build more than 4,000 affordable housing units by 2025. works for 28 new houses funded by the Fonds de Logement started in Gonderange.
