Ebury’s new office in Luxembourg will be located on Boulevard Royal. Matic Zorman

Ebury, a provider of transaction payment solutions, has opened an office in Luxembourg. The branch is registered under Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) regulations and aims to support managers in the alternative investments sector.

The company provides financial solutions to make international trade easier. For entities being set up in Luxembourg, Ebury will provide a variety of services. For example, they will be able to issue blocking certificates--required by local regulations to prove that funds have been blocked until company formation is complete--within 48 hours. The new branch will also allow Ebury to address demand for better cross-border payment services.

Ebury has transacted $21bn in the last 12 months and operates in 31 offices around the world. The new branch will be located on Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg.

As of 31 December 2020, the total net asset value of alternate investment funds , according to statistics published the financial sector regulator CSSF.
