One year after the launch of its Luxembourg branch, BeAngels has appointed Elodie Trojanowski as its local representative. The CEO of Luxfactory replaces Benjamin Tillier, who will focus on Fiveoffices.

After launching the Luxembourg branch, Benjamin Tillier will hand over its reins to Elodie Trojanowski to represent BeAngels in the country. The Belgian network aims to bring start-ups and investors together. Present in Luxembourg since the autumn of 2021, it has 50 members out of a total of 460.

The former representative in the Grand Duchy, Benjamin Tillier, "took off for new horizons" by co-founding the office rental service Fiveoffices, explains BeAngels in its press release. It describes his replacement, Elodie Trojanowski, currently CEO and co-founder of Luxfactory, which specialises in data consulting, as the "ideal candidate to recruit new investors and identify potential Luxembourg projects seeking financing". Her appointment will be made official on 22 September, during the network's first pitching session of the new year, which will take place at The City by Ginkgo.

Diversifying through women

"In the context of our activities to support digital change in large SMEs, we sometimes have to find investors to finance projects. The latter show a real interest in investing in the very attractive start-up sector," Elodie Trojanowski explains. She wants to focus on diversifying the membership by recruiting more women. "They all have their place in the financing chain and have a real added value to contribute."

More than €69 million have been invested in nearly 380 start-ups via BeAngels in Europe. The network says it wants to continue its growth in Luxembourg "by continuing to work hand in hand with the public authorities in order to continue to strengthen the dynamism of both the Belgian and Luxembourg ecosystems".
