The Paperjam Club welcomes a new member: Neofisc. An Introduction in three questions.

Paperjam Club: Can you summarise your company’s activity in a few words?

Séverine Bergé: We offer accounting and tax services to both professionals and individuals, with a strong focus on personal contact. We handle all tax and accounting procedures for freelancers, liberal professions, Sarl-S and Sarl companies, as well as HR management and private declarations. We also assist individuals with their Luxembourgish and French tax declarations, providing strategic advice to optimise their tax situation.

What is the story behind your company, and how does this story translate to your mission and values?

The company was founded in 2011 out of the observation that many employees lacked information about the Luxembourg tax system. Except for those who were required to, very few dared to file a tax return--especially cross-border workers, for whom the process was complex. Many preferred to forgo their benefits out of fear of making a mistake. The activity later expanded to include French taxation and then professional clients.

What opportunities are you looking for within the Paperjam Club and how do you plan to contribute to its development?

Our goal is to position ourselves as a trusted partner for SMEs, supporting HR departments whose roles have become more complex. They are on the front line when it comes to employee questions: choices regarding RTS, whether a declaration is mandatory, annual statements or form 100, consequences of a change in marital status or country of residence--these are just some of the issues that require reliable answers to avoid excess taxation.
