The new partnership between Spirii and Circle K will see 30 EV charging stations in Luxembourg migrated to Spirii, as part of a broader rollout of 600 chargers across four European countries.

Copenhagen-headquartered Spirii, a global provider of electric vehicle charging solutions, has announced a partnership with Circle K, a leading convenience and mobility brand, enabling its entry into the Luxembourg market. This agreement will see the integration of 600 direct current (DC) charge points into Spirii’s EV charging platform, following Circle K’s of TotalEnergies’ retail assets in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. on 18 September 2024, the partnership will also introduce a comprehensive new home and workplace charging solution across these regions.

Among the over 600 charging points set to migrate to Spirii, 30 are located in Luxembourg, a representative of Spirii told Delano. Spirii and Circle K plan to leverage this opportunity to expand home and workplace charging options in Luxembourg, aligning with the country’s vision for a sustainable electric future.

Our collaboration with Circle K allows us to serve this growing market by offering advanced and reliable charging solutions that align with Luxembourg’s vision for an electric future.” Harritshøj emphasised Spirii’s role as the charge point operator in managing and supporting Circle K’s charging network, with the goal of establishing Circle K as a leading provider in these markets.

Håkon Stiksrud, Circle K’s global head of e-mobility, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership in the announcement, noting, “We are very pleased to enter a collaboration with Spirii, which will enable growth of our charging service in these markets. Our mission is to make the EV customer’s journey easy, and we look forward to engaging with Spirii on that journey.”

The collaboration will be rolled out simultaneously across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
