EY Luxembourg has appointed four equity partners, 13 partners and four directors, the firm announced on 20 June.

The promotions of the 17 partners and four directors, announced by EY Luxembourg in a press release on 20 June, will be effective from 1 July 2024.

Four equity partners

Marcello Belfiore (assurance, audit) joined EY Luxembourg in 2010. He specialises in the audit of regulated alternative investment funds.

Frédéric Guilmin (assurance, forensics) joined the firm in 2023. He has over 20 years of experience and works with topics including AML/KYC, sanctions and financial crime.

Léna Le Gal (tax, global compliance and reporting) has been with EY Luxembourg since 2008. She leads consolidation projects for real estate and private equity asset managers, as well as for corporates, says the EY website.

Emiliano Luzzi (consulting, business consulting) joined EY in 2021 and has been responsible for the insurance consulting practice.

Thirteen new partners

Pierre-Yves Amé (assurance, audit) started at EY Luxembourg in 2013. He works with the private equity sector.

Kerry-ann Au Yeong (assurance, audit) has been with EY Luxembourg since 2007, having previously worked in Singapore and Malaysia. She works in the wealth & asset management audit practice.

Luis Chamorro Cadarso (assurance, audit) joined EY in 2013, starting in Spain, then moving to the UK and Australia. He began in Luxembourg in 2021.

Saba Chandrasekhran (assurance, audit) works in the sector of telecommunications media & technology. He’s been with EY since 2012 and in Luxembourg since 2017.

Eric Dörr (assurance, audit) is specialised in the audit of banks, securitisation vehicles and alternative investment funds. He joined EY in 2014.

Benjamin Drai (tax, indirect tax) has been with EY since 2019, having previously worked at other Big Four firms. He works with EU VAT.

Kyle Frasca (assurance, audit) started at EY in 2012. He specialises in the wealth & asset management sector.

Jonas Lesueur (consulting, business consulting) joined EY in 2021. He previously worked at another Big Four firm.

Rebecca Obermahr (tax, indirect tax) has a focus on the German market and has experience in VAT, customs and excise duties.

Amedeo Pedini (assurance, audit) has been with EY since 2009, starting in Milan before coming to Luxembourg.

Nader Riachy (assurance, audit) started at EY Luxembourg in 2016. He previously worked at EY in the United Arab Emirates and at KPMG Qatar.

Anna Shevchuk (assurance, technology risk) began working at EY in Ukraine in 2014, then came to EY Luxembourg in 2017. She’s specialised in IT audit and risk assessments.

Lars Stein (assurance, audit) joined the firm in 2013. He oversees external audits of fund managers.

Four directors

Khaled Al Mahayni (digital factory) joined EY in 2020 and became chief information officer in 2023.

Mike Hakkens (markets) has experience in asset management and enterprise technology. He started at EY in 2020 and became became head of account management in 2023.

Caroline Imbaut (markets) joined EY Luxembourg in 2001. She leads the firm’s marketing and communication activities.

Ana Perez (risk management) joined EY Luxembourg in 2023.
