Pierre-Jean Forrer will head up the new team created to respond to the increased needs of institutions.

The reorganisation within EY Luxembourg announced by Country Managing Partner Olivier Coekelbergs on Tuesday takes place as the company reacts to what it calls a “profound transformation, within a country undergoing full economic and demographic expansion, and in which citizens' expectations of a digitalized and accessible administrative system are growing.”

Pierre-Jean Forrer’s appointment as government and public sector leader and the creation of the new team is in line with what EY says is its goal to “better support governments and administrations in their major challenges.”

Joint actions between the private and public sectors contribute to the attractiveness of the country on the international scene, EY stated. Indeed, in 2022, for the first time, EY's attractiveness survey--already in place across Europe--will be deployed in Luxembourg. “This study conducted by EY is recognized as an essential source of information on a country's main assets, making it possible to examine its attractiveness as an investment destination and providing reliable insights for companies and governments to make economically and- politically sound strategies that promote growth and investment.”

Forrer has more than 30 years’ experience serving large and multinational companies, small and medium-sized service and manufacturing companies, technology and fintech start-ups, as well as international public organisations and local public sector entities (ministries, administrations, public companies) in France, the Middle East and Luxembourg. He had previously served as the head of the technology transformation consulting team at EY Luxembourg since March 2017.
