FE fundinfo and Matter announced an agreement on Wednesday to enhance the accessibility of sustainability data at the fund level, with the aim of providing valuable insights to investors and industry stakeholders.

FE fundinfo, the parent company of Fundsquare, a fund distribution service provider in Luxembourg, and Matter, a provider of sustainability and impact data, a strategic partnership on Wednesday 6 December 2023. This collaboration aims to enhance the availability of environmental, social and governance (ESG) and sustainability fund-level metrics within the industry.

Under the partnership, FE fundinfo’s comprehensive fund portfolio holdings database will be integrated with Matter’s extensive sustainability data, including information on funds’ emissions, climate commitments, compliance with the sustainable finance disclosure regulation and the EU Taxonomy, as well as alignment with sustainable development goals.

This amalgamated data will be accessible through FE fundinfo’s data feed portal, providing distributors, platforms and investors with detailed insights into the sustainability aspects of their investment portfolios.

As sustainability continues to gain prominence in investment strategies, the partnership between FE fundinfo and Matter aims to provide comprehensive transparency regarding fund-level information, stated the press release.
