and the concept is simple: find out which bars are showing which matches.
The platform was launched by two friends, Nicolas Sully and Daniel Brunner (respectively of Accenture and Deloitte). So far they have a dozen bars signed up to the platform, which is currently calibrated, in the main, for the upcoming Euro 2024 football championship.
It may be extended, however, for other sports and competitions, such as the Paris Olympics this summer.
“Golazone is free for venues and visitors,” says Brunner. “No hidden charges, no extra costs. The user experience is fluid and intuitive. The first version allows you to search for your sports preference using a calendar or by location.”
“We designed the platform to meet the needs of sports fans and Horesca venues,” adds Sully. “We’re inviting venues to make themselves known so that we can offer them optimum exposure for their forthcoming sports broadcasts.”
On 14 June, at 9pm, the opening match between Germany and Scotland will be shown at Urban City, Urban Mertert, La Familia, The Spot, Kyosk, TNL and Crossfire-Nordic Bar.
