As recently announced by the Chamber of Commerce and Luxembourg Trade & Invest, registrations have opened for the ICT mission, which runs 17–21 October. The first of six, the mission includes a visit to the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (Gitex)--considered the flagship consumer computer and electronics trade show in the region, drawing in 1,200 entities and over 100,000 visitors each year--as well as international networking and prospecting opportunities offered through the fair.
The four-day mission also includes VIP access to the Metaform-designed Luxembourg pavilion and a networking reception.
The mission is the first of several sectorial missions--others include space (24-30 October), sustainability (17-20 January 2022), healthtech (24-27 January 2022) and food and beverage (13-17 February 2022). A special “Made in Luxembourg” week, showcasing grand duchy know-how, takes place from 31 October to 6 November, while an international business matchmaking fair (23-25 January 2022) coincides with the designated Luxembourg Day on 23 January 2022.
According to Expo 2020 Dubai organisers, this year’s world expo will offer over 60 live events daily, including a central trellised pavilion upon which stories from the region will be projected at night.
General admission for the expo go on sale worldwide on 18 July.
