In this month of breast cancer awareness, Luxembourg's hotel and catering professionals are playing the game with some great projects. Here's a quick overview.

Breast buns at Cocottes

After taking part in the Broschtkriibslaf last Saturday, the Cocottes teams is launching "breast buns" in their 17 outlets. €0.50 of every bun sold will be donated to the Europa Donna Luxembourg association. The sweet buns are in the shape of imperfect breasts. "With these breast buns, we want to collect donations and, above all, raise awareness around breast cancer in Luxembourg, where there are more than 500 new cases every year," says the brand's management.

Gourmet boob, at Lola Valerius

This month's chocolate is also dedicated to the "Pink October" cause at the high-profile chocolate maker in Esch-sur-Alzette. With fig and rosemary flavoured chocolate in the shape of a small breast, accompanied by a series of very successful in-house photos, it would be a shame to resist!

Pink beer with Bofferding

The Brasserie Nationale is also playing the game with a limited series of pink Bofferding bottles. Crates are to be won every week via a competition on the brand's social networks, which also supports the Think Pink Lux association.

A special box at Kusmi Tea

For the Kusmi Tea brand, a green tea with mint and natural rose flavouring from Kusmi Tea will be the solidarity tea for Pink October 2022. 100% of the profits generated will be directly donated to the Pink Ribbon association.

And to detox, head for Echternach on 23 October!

After enjoying all these good things (and for a good cause), it’s time to detox! The Race for the Cure 2022 will take place at Lake Echternach on 23 October. Organised in the Grand Duchy by Think Pink Lux, it helps breast cancer organisations and hospitals to raise funds and awareness. A good excuse to go and sweat a bit! More info on the .
