The Luxembourg companies Salonkee, InTech, Akabi, CTG IT Solutions and Pictet Technologies, which already have the Great Place to Work label, have been included in the Best Workplaces in Europe for 2022.

In the running were more than 3,000 companies with the "Great Place to Work" label at national level, representing 1.4 million employees in 37 countries. Only 150 were selected (25 small, 50 medium, 50 large and 25 multinationals) to be included in the Best Workplaces in Europe ranking. And among them are five Luxembourg companies. It is to be noted that . Their names were revealed on Thursday 8 September at a ceremony in Venice.

Four of them specialise in IT and technology and are among the top medium-sized companies (50 to 499 employees): InTech in 11th position, Akabi, 21st, CTG IT Solutions, 44th, and Pictet Technologies, 48th.

The start-up Salonkee, which offers online appointment scheduling in the beauty sector, came 13th in the small company category (10 to 49 employees).

As many companies ranked as in 2021

Luxembourg remains as well represented CTG IT Solutions was ranked 16th last year but has dropped in rankings in 2022. In 2020, only one Luxembourg company had made it into the European top rankings.

In order to receive the label in Luxembourg, companies had to undergo an evaluation based on a file and an employee questionnaire. It should be noted that this audit is subject to a fee, but there is no additional cost to receive the national or global label. To establish its European ranking, the institute chose the companies with the best results in each country.

In 2021, 83% of employees in the 150 awarded organisations in Europe said they were prepared to put in more effort than required to do their job, compared with 67% in the others which do not have the label.
