Luxembourg-based airport transfer specialist Flibco announced in a press release on 18 March 2025 the opening of a new route in the UK. From 1 April 2025 onwards, the company will offer a shuttle service between London Stansted airport and the British capital’s city centre.
Operating 24/7, the new service will provide 96 daily journeys, with a departure every 30 minutes in each direction. The buses will depart from the airport’s bus terminal, located just outside the arrivals hall, and will serve two London stops:
—Stratford Station (Westfield), reached in 50 minutes, with connections to the Elizabeth, Central and Jubilee lines, as well as the Underground and regional trains
—Liverpool Street Station, reached in 90 minutes, offering direct access to central London via one of the capital’s busiest stations
Flibco will have to hold its own against well-established competition on this route. National Express offers bus journeys from £10, while the Stansted Express, the train linking Liverpool Street, makes the journey in 50 minutes for around double that. Flibco, meanwhile, says “advance purchase tickets will be available from £13.99.”
With this new UK operation, Flibco is expanding its network, which already serves several major European airports, including Brussels-Charleroi, Frankfurt, Milan-Malpensa, Turin, Brussels-Zaventem and Pisa. Based in Luxembourg, the company employs more than 1,750 people across Europe.
