Two leading professional services firms, Forvis and Mazars, have jointly announced the official launch of their new global network, Forvis Mazars, effective from 1 June 2024. With a combined revenue of €4.7bn in 2023 and a workforce of over 40,000 professionals spread across 100 countries, the newly formed entity has secured its position among the top 10 global networks ranking.
In a press release issued on Tuesday 3 June, Forvis Mazars disclosed its key leadership positions and governance structure. According to the statement, the governance of Forvis Mazars will be overseen by a global network board, tasked with ensuring smooth collaboration and client delivery. Hervé Hélias has been appointed as the inaugural chair of the global network board, while retaining his role as chairman of the group executive board of Forvis Mazars. Matt Snow will serve as the vice chair of the global network board.
Furthermore, Tom Watson, formerly at Forvis, will retain his position as CEO of Forvis Mazars and will sit on the network board alongside Rob Pruitt, Fran Randall and Tim York, also from Forvis. From the Mazars side, David Chaudat, Pascal Jauffret, Véronique Ryckaert and Phil Verity will join the global network board.
Hélias remarked that this collaboration represents a significant milestone for clients, the profession, and the employees of both firms. He underscored the shared commitment of Mazars and Forvis, spanning over 20 years, towards delivering exceptional client experiences. Hélias expressed his pride in assuming the role of the first chair of the global network board and his confidence in the combined firms’ ability to elevate client service standards and address future needs in local markets.
Watson emphasised that Forvis Mazars is built on a foundation of understanding client challenges and delivering unparalleled experiences. He asserted that the new network would create opportunities for both clients and employees, with decisions geared towards ensuring their long-term success.
The network was initially on 15 November 2023.
