Spending nine years at the International Development Law Organization in Rome allowed Delas to build up the necessary knowledge of climate change and development finance, Luxflag said in a statement. After moving to Luxembourg 12 years ago she worked at the European Business Reliance Centre and Finance in Motion, and she currently heads its Luxembourg branch.
“I firmly believe that Isabelle, an experienced manager of impact investment funds with a passion for sustainable finance, will play a key role in the future development of Luxflag,” said Denise Voss, chairwoman of Luxflag.
Luxflag’s general manager Sachin Vankalas died in July 2021 after contracting covid-19. He headed up the fund labelling agency--which checks the ethical and responsible investment claims made by asset managers--for two years and had worked there for a decade.
“Isabelle, together with the Luxflag board and Luxflag team, will continue Sachin’s legacy in contributing to advance the sustainable finance agenda in Luxembourg and in Europe,” said Voss.
