According to information received by , Gamma Technologies will announce next week that it has raised one million euros from Husqvarna to accelerate its development.

Turkish-born Caner Dolas and his partner in Gamma Technologies, Jayan Jevanesan, have convinced Husqvarna, a Swedish leader in garden and forestry tools, to contribute €1 million to the development of their start-up.

In 2020, the Swedish company’s revenues amounted to more than €4.1 billion and it expects a 10% increase this year.

Created in 2019,  Gamma Technologies provides a unique AR tool that allows construction managers and facility managers to bring models through planning to the reality. The tool can run as an app that can be used on site, but also has a web platform so those offsite can access and integrate necessary info back into planning models.

Dolas explained in a at the end of last year, that normally, if ambiguity is spotted in plans on a construction site, the information is relayed via photos, notes, emails, etc. Not only is this time-consuming, but it’s also prone to errors.

“We calculated that from beginning to end of this whole process, it’s [around] 27 minutes per issue, per documentation task: scanning, emailing, calling, so on. With [our tool], you can reduce it to less than one minute.”

In 2020, its first full year of operation, Gamma Technologies recorded revenues of almost €150,000 euros, allowing it to show a profit and to start recruiting three additional staff.
