The CFL is and mostly free. A majority of the train lines run through the Gare centrale (central train station), and all main Luxembourg cities have train stations. It is important to note however that the first class cars are not free, but there is little difference between these seats and the regular ones.

Luxembourg City has a . The line travels from the national stadium in the south of the capital through Luxembourg city centre up to Luxexpo in Kirchberg, and will be extended all the way to the airport in the future. They are very reliable and go every 3-4 minutes at peak times, so you’re almost guaranteed little wait time.

In addition to the , there is an extensive . Though they are not as consistent in their punctuality as the tram, buses are the best option for getting around outside the city centre.
Vel’Oh
Luxembourg has a bike rental service called with 100+ stations across Luxembourg City and the surrounding area. The bicycles come with an electric pedal assistance system with a 40km range. This service is entirely accessible via the Vel’Oh app. The first half hour of every ride is complimentary, followed by €0.50 the next half hour, then €1 for the next and €2 thereafter.

Night bus
If ever you’re out on the town late at night, not to worry! Luxembourg has buses that run throughout the to locations in and outside the city.

and are popular car sharing services. The Automobile Club of Luxembourg rents --as well as e-bikes and cargo --to members.

The city centre has several , so one can drive into town if they so desire. While the main ones are Monterey and Glacis, there are others throughout the city that vary in price.

There are also plenty of ride-share and taxi services in Luxembourg. has just signed a joint venture with and rival Bolt it would launch in the grand duchy soon, and still operate within the city.
