In a press release on Wednesday morning, Governance.com announced the departure of Arnold Spruit and the introduction of Glaesener and Valsamidis to its board of directors. They join George Bock, Ralf Ferner, head of corporate governance, and the two co-founders Bert Boerman (CEO) and Rob Boerman (CTO).
Having founded Internaxx.com, TDBank's international online bank in Luxembourg, and having been its CEO from 2000 to 2010, Glaesener is also the chairman of Talkwalker. From 2010 to 2021, he helped it grow from a startup to a global company with 450 employees.
Valsamidis founded a series of startups before successfully launching a company, which he then helped grow into the Altec Group, Greece’s largest IT group. He has coached and supported numerous startups and scale-ups in the IT and financial services sectors.
“We are delighted to welcome this wealth of combined experience to the board. The experience and expertise of Glaesener and Valsamidis will be invaluable as we rapidly grow our business while ensuring the success of our clients. We are very grateful to Arnold Spruit for his work as a director and chairman of the board. He has been a great asset to the company and will no doubt continue to add value as an advisor,” commented Governance.com CEO Bert Boerman.
