Prices are rising almost continuously, supply is still insufficient, mortgage rates are constantly rising, the construction sector is running out of steam while the property development sector is slowing down more and more... All the housing indicators are in the red in Luxembourg. What was still just a ‘problem’ not long ago is becoming a real crisis.
The theme will obviously be central in the next election campaign. This is why the Paperjam + Delano Business Club has chosen it for the first of its four pre-election roundtables (there will also be debates on the on 6 June and on on 27 June, with taking place on 19 September).
Participating in the housing debate will be the housing minister (Déi Gréng), (DP), Max Leners (LSAP), (CSV), Sylvie Mischel (ADR), (Déi Lénk) and Chloé Timmerman (Piratepartei).
Organised in the premises of PwC Luxembourg, a partner of the event, the discussions will be moderated by Paperjam journalists and from 7.30pm.
