HSBC Luxembourg on 1 March will have a new chief operating officer to lead its business operations, the firm announced.

One year after the appointment of HSBC Luxembourg’s it is now the COO position that sees changes. Previous COO  occupied the position from July 2021 to December 2022 before moving to the firm’s Düsseldorf branch.

Claude Quintus spent close to 20 years working for HSBC’s Securities Services in Luxembourg, before becoming head of business services in July 2021. Quintus will be responsible for business operators across all of HSBC’s service offers in the country, “where the bank is a leading international hub for Asset Management, Corporate Banking, Private Banking and Securities Services.”

On his appointment, Quintus said he is “looking forward to working across the bank to help drive further growth and innovation, and ensure we continue to deliver outstanding results for our clients.” Vignoli said the company was thrilled “to have Claude as our new COO. His experience, leadership and expertise in the Luxembourg financial landscape will be instrumental in driving our growth across business lines and enabling our clients to connect to opportunities in Luxembourg around the world.”
