Tommy Klein, one of the three co-directors of Ilres since the departure of Luc Biever, is leaving the survey company, where he has worked for 10 years.

Tommy Klein will leave the management of Ilres on Friday 24 February, the market research company announced. “After 10 years of commitment, I have decided to embark on a new professional adventure,” Klein explained in the press release.

After a degree in sociology and philosophy at the University of Aachen, he joined Ilres in April 2013 as a research officer. In May 2018, Klein took over the management of the customer service department, as well as the management of the counting office (e.g., passenger counting for the CFL).

After the departure of Luc Biever, general manager, at the end of September 2021, Klein took over his position, in a shared management with Thomas Crépon (also head of customer service) and Ingrid Fleischer (in charge of finance and human resources).

“Following the announcement of Tommy Klein’s departure, [Ilres] will continue to be managed jointly by Ingrid Fleischer and myself,” Crépon explained to Delano’s sister publication Paperjam. Asked whether the duo will recruit a third person to replace Klein, Crépon said that “we are currently recruiting to strengthen our staff in the Public department. The final organisation has not yet been decided.”
