Luxembourg residents will be able to get their covid-19 vaccination done in various locations throughout the week, as the health directorate pushes its campaign.

After announcing the closure of its Victor Hugo vaccination centre on 2 July due to less people getting a shot, the Luxembourg state will once again send its Impfbus (‘vaccination bus’) on the road.

The bus, which will stop at the Cactus in Bettembourg, the City Concorde in Bertrange, the CFL Safety Day in Gasperich, and the Marie-Adélaide parking in Ettelbruck. Those keen to get the vaccine won’t have to book an appointment to be seen.

As numbers of infections grow--there has been a over one week--the vaccination rate has been stalling at 78.8% for weeks.
