A total of 12,000 runners took part in the event according to ING’s website with an estimated 100,000 spectators cheering on the participants. 1,300 volunteers facilitated the event handing out refreshments. During the event 68 people (56 of which had taken part in the run) required medical treatment by volunteers from the CGDIS, Luxembourg’s fire and rescue services, including one case of severe injury.
