American asset manager Invesco has appointed Roel Thijssen as head of Benelux. He began the role on 2 August.

Roel Thijssen will be responsible for distribution in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, and will be based in the Amsterdam office. 

Thijssen has a degree in economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and has extensive experience in asset management, having worked at ABN Amro, Barclays Global Investors and BlackRock.

Invesco’s Luxembourg offices are located in Kirchberg on Avenue J. F. Kennedy.
