On Wednesday 29 March, IQ-EQ announced the establishment of operations in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). It’s the first step in a strategic expansion.

IQ-EQ has opened a new office in the Dubai International Financial Centre.

“The expansion of IQ-EQ’s global reach aligns with our ambition to have a local presence in every country in the world. It will reinforce the group’s already strong global positioning,” said chief executive Mark Pesco.

The Dubai financial services authority has approved the new strategy, which will enable IQ-EQ to offer its services to high net worth individuals and companies, as well as family offices.

“Our Dubai operations will help us meet our clients’ local and international structuring needs, including company and foundation formation and management, compliance, secretarial and accounting services. We plan to expand our offering to include full-fledged domestic fund administration in due course,” added Tariq Nakhooda, senior executive heading IQ-EQ UAE in Dubai.

This brings the number of IQ-EQ locations worldwide to 25.
