The shareholders of media company Editpress, which publishes the Tageblatt and Quotidien, have appointed Jacques Eischen as interim CEO.

As Paperjam and the Land had already surmised, Jacques Eischen has been appointed interim managing director of publishing house Editpress after an ordinary general meeting of the group’s shareholders last Friday

The departure of Jean-Lou Siweck, who is taking on the role of director at national radio station 100.7, meant the publisher of the Tageblatt, the Quotidien (in collaboration with the Républicain Lorrain) and the Revue had to find a new personality to take the reins of the group, which was founded in 1913 and is based in Esch-Alzette.

Jacques Eischen told the Tageblatt that "no major structural changes will be made" under his leadership. According to our colleagues, the new leader of Editpress has made it a priority to ensure a good working atmosphere and good internal communication. "My door is open to everyone," he said.
